Rhondda Swimming Club, based in Ystrad, is the Rhondda’s number one competitive swimming club with some 150 swimming members training in 5 pools in Ystrad, Maerdy, Porth, Pontypridd Lido and Cardiff International Pool.
We cater for swimmers who have completed wave 5 of the Swim Wales Learn to Swim Framework (or equivalent) and are looking to continue to enjoy swimming and start competing. Swimmers are organised into a training groups and swim in regular, fiercely-contested open meets. We also enter friendly club galas – where the competition is just as keen.
Potential new members and aspiring athletes are warmly invited to enquire about requesting a free trial assessment.
